李承森,1,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

研究领域:

 维管植物比较形态学、植物解剖学、化石植物分类学、演化植物学和环境生物学 

遵循植物演化生物学的思想,从生命科学和环境科学两个方面,研究陆地植物起源演化及其与全球环境变迁的相关关系。长期以来,通过研究植物演化过程中处于重要环节的类群,整体重建重要的绝灭类群,恢复植物演化序列,揭示其演化机制和规律;同时获取生物演化事件和化石植物富含的环境和气候信息,从生物学角度认识环境演变过程和规律,认识史前自然灾难,在长时间尺度上探索和理解全球变化趋势。

主持和参加的科研项目

  “中国华北地区晚新生代植物演化和环境变迁”,国家自然科学基金重点项目(批准号69112A1001)(2006.1-2009.12),主持人。

  “西南季风变迁与生物多样性演化”,国家重点基础研究发展计划(973)子课题(批准号49768B1001)(2004.9-2009.8),主持人。

  “近2000年来西部环境变化研究”,中国科学院知识创新工程重大项目子课题(批准号031327G)(已结题),主持人。
