郭庆华,男,博士,研究员,国科大岗位教授,博士生导师。

  北京大学获得学士和硕士学位;美国加州大学伯克利分校获得博士学位;回国前历任加州大学默塞德分校环境工程系助教、副教授、教授;回国后组建中国科学院植物研究所数字生态研究组。  

  曾任或现任美国NSFNASAUSDA等机构的大会评审专家,以及“Ecology”“International Journal of Geographical Information ScienceIJGIS “Remote Sensing of Environment RSE“Ecography” “Global Change Biology”等国际刊物的审稿人。作为第一负责人和共同负责人已经主持完成多项美国自然科学基金会、联邦地质调查局、联邦森林局、联邦国家公园管理局、加州水利局、摩尔基金会等项目。  

  在生态地理一类数据问题和激光雷达的生态应用两个方向取得了系列原创性研究成果,已发表包括PNASEcologyEcographyRSEIJGISJGRPERS等主流生态和遥感类权威刊物收录的SCI论文87篇,文章总被引用次数为1116次,他引986次。其中2篇论文分获IJGIS 2005-2010年度和近10余年间引用率最高的十篇文章之一;关于激光雷达数据处理算法的系列论文分获美国摄影测量学会“Talbert Abrams”奖和“ERDAS 最佳学术论文”奖;相关研究成果被美国自然科学基金会评为重要研究突破(Breaking News),同时被国内外多家知名媒体(如科学美国人、UC PressSacramento Bee Science 360GreenBlog、纽约时报、中央电台、新华网、EurekAlert新闻平台等)先后报道。 

  目前,已培养多名硕士和博士,研究生多次获得国际奖项,如国家优秀自费留学生奖学金、“美国国家科学基金会论文奖” 、美国地理学会最佳论文奖等。 

  主要研究工作: 

  长期从事遥感和地理信息系统方法及其在生态环境中的应用研究。主要开展以激光雷达为核心传感器、融合多源遥感信息批量提取和反演植被三维结构和功能参数方面的数字生态领域相关研究,目前研究工作主要围绕以下5个方向开展 

  1)激光雷达技术的软硬件研发及其在森林和城市生态学中的应用; 

  2)作物表型信息通量化提取软硬件系统集成; 

  3)物种分布模型算法(地理一类数据)研究和生物多样性格局模拟应用; 

  4)多源、多尺度生态遥感大数据融合、计算与信息发布; 

  5)在区域、全球尺度上应用多源遥感数据结合生态模型,模拟和预测气候变化和土地利用变化对陆地生态系统结构、功能(如碳循环,生物多样性等)的影响
