马克平,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

中国科学院植物研究所研究员,中国科学院大学教授、博士生导师。1982年获齐齐哈尔师范学院学士学位,1987年获东北林业大学硕士学位,1991年获东北林业大学博士学位。1991年至1994年在植物所从事博士后研究,19941月留植物所工作任副研究员,199512月任研究员。19988月至20026月任植物所植物生态学与生物多样性保育研究中心主任;20026月至20066月任植物所副所长;20066-20108月任植物所所长。

现任世界自然保护联盟(IUCN)亚洲区会员委员会主席、Species 2000国际项目董事会成员、亚洲和西太平洋地区生物多样性(DIWPA)委员会执行委员、中国科学院生物多样性委员会副主任兼秘书长,《生物多样性》主编、《中国科学》副主编、《广西植物》名誉主编、《林业资源管理》副主编, National Science Review, Plant Ecology and DiversityBMC EcologyJournal of Plant EcologyForest Ecosystems 和《植物生态学报》等编委。迄今在SciencePNASScience Advances, Nature CommunicationsEcology LettersNew PhytologistEcologyGlobal Ecology and BiogeographyJournal of EcologySCI收录期刊发表论文250余篇;主编专著/学术论文集20多部。已培养硕士和博士54名,正在指导博士生硕士生15人。作为中国政府代表团的科学顾问, 参加了第一届、第四届、第六至十四届联合国《生物多样性公约》缔约方大会。2012年国家科学技术进步奖一等奖、2011年度中国科学院优秀研究生导师 2020年度中国科学院优秀导师奖等。

主要研究工作:

近年主要开展群落构建机制、保护生物地理学和生物多样性与生态系统功能等方面的研究,并积极推动生物多样性信息学在中国的发展,特别是标本数字化及其共享平台、全国生物物种编目、中国生物多样性监测网络和森林生物多样性与生态系统功能研究平台的建设。
