谢宗强,男,博士,研究员,博士生导师。

1988年在北京林业大学获学士学位,1996年在中国科学院植物研究所获博士学位。中国科学院植物研究所研究员,中国科学院特聘研究员,中国科学院大学岗位教授,湖北神农架森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站暨中国科学院神农架生物多样性定位研究站站长。生态环境部自然保护地生态环境监管咨询专家,云南西双版纳森林生态系统国家野外科学观测研究站学术委员会主任,北京生态学学会副理事长,《植物生态学报》《生态学报》《林业科学》编委。迄今发表论著200余篇(部)。已培养硕士和博士40名,正在指导博士生和硕士生7名。

主要研究工作

研究领域为保护生态学和森林生态学,主要研究:1)生物多样性的变化和保育对策;2)森林生态系统的结构与功能动态; 3)大型水利工程对生态系统的影响与生态恢复。
