2008年在北京林业大学林学院获学士学位，2014年在中国科学院植物研究所获博士学位并留所工作。2010至2012年在美国史密森研究院国家自然历史博物馆进行合作研究，2015至2016年在澳大利亚国家标本馆访问学习。迄今为止，以第一或通讯作者（含共同）在Nature、National Science Review、New Phytologist、Cladistics、Journal of Biogeography等刊物上发表论文40余篇，研究成果（Lu et al., 2018. Nature）入选2018年度“中国生命科学十大进展”。先后得到中国科协青年人才托举工程、中科院青年创新促进会和国家优秀青年科学基金等项目支持。目前担任Australian Systematic Botany和Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution副主编，《植物资源与环境学报》编委。

主要研究方向

主要研究方向是植物分类与生物多样性保护研究。一方面，综合基因、基因组、形态、地理分布和化石等证据，对生命之树上的重要类群开展分类学和生物地理学研究，以揭示植物多样化的普遍规律；另一方面，利用大尺度生命之树，探究植物区系的起源与演化及植物多样性的形成机制，为生物多样性保护实践提供科学支撑。
